Nothing!!!! We provide all training tools and aids. The only thing we ask is that you have a pair of trainers and some clothing that you feel comfortable moving in and don’t mind getting dirty on the occasion.
Results are a side effect of lifestyle! You will see and feel your results in as little as 3 weeks. If you follow the GMF program and nutrition guide with maximum effort, you can expect to see amazing results, such as increased muscle tone, decreased girth measurements, increased stamina and strength, better sleep, faster metabolism (which burns the stored body fat), and most of all, the happiness that comes with being a healthier person!
In a word, yes. The first two sessions will be the toughest for your body to adjust to. However, once you acclimate to the program, you'll feel sore less often. Remember, it's a good thing! We work on stretching, warm-ups, and cool-downs to help minimize the soreness.
That's hard to say, because every day is different. One day could be an endurance day; another could be a strength day; yet another could be an obstacle-course day. At GMF, we work to challenge every muscle in your body, develop every facet of fitness. Our aim is to keep your body challenged and your mind interested at the same time.
Some of the techniques we use on a regular basis are: Static and dynamic stretching, running / walking, military exercise drills, stair climbing, resistance training, obstacle courses, speed training, plyometrics, bands / tubes, Ab and all-around core training, agility and power drills, partner drill and jumping Rope…to name a few.
You'll meet individuals just like yourself: People who like training in the outdoors, in an organized group, who want to do something different, who appreciate a challenge…but most of all like making new friends.
Yes. For your first session arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the session starts to allow for administration.
Absolutely! We do however use more sheltered parts of the park. In all fairness in a whole year I've only had 2-3 really poor weather sessions and we make it even more fun then so those that come love it even more. If we cancelled due to weather people would never know if it were on or off. Besides, character grows more in adverse conditions!
No, but you do need to be committed to improving your level of fitness. If you lack motivation - don't worry - we will sort that out for you.
