Nothing - we provide all training equipment. The only thing you will need is a pair of running shoes, and some clothing that you feel comfortable exercising in. It is also a good idea to bring a water bottle.
Results are a side effect of lifestyle! However if you attend Get Me Fit regulaly, and support this with healthy eating, then you will start to see and feel results in as little as 3 weeks. Results can include increased muscle tone, decreased body measurements, increased stamina and strength, better sleep and most importantly, the happiness that comes with being a healthier person!
Your first two sessions are likley to be the toughest as your body adjusts to your new exercise program. However, once your body adjusts to exercise you will feel sore less often. We work on stretching, warm-ups, and cool-downs to help minimise the soreness.
At Get Me Fit there is no 'typical' session - every session is different. We understand that variety is good for both the body and the mind; therefore we work to challenge every muscle in your body and to develop every facet of your fitness. Some of the techniques we use on a regular basis include static and dynamic stretching, running / walking, military style exercises, resistance training, speed training, plyometrics, bands / tubes, ab and all-around core training, agility and power drills, partner drills .... to name a few.
You'll meet individuals just like yourself. People who like training in the outdoors in an organised group, who want to do something different, who appreciate a challenge .... and like meeting new people.

Any GMF session which falls on a public holiday will be held at Hagley Park from 8 am – 9 am (as opposed to 5.45 pm), unless advised otherwise.
Absolutely! We don't often have really poor weather sessions, but when we do we use the more shelterd parts of the park, and aim to make it even more fun so those that attend have a great time and forget about the weather. If we have to cancel, current members will be advised via email, however this is very rare and is only likely to occur if there is a heavy snowfall or similar.
By joining GMF all members agree to adhere to the following terms & conditions: GMF Terms and Conditions
No, but you do need to be committed to improving your level of fitness. If you lack motivation don't worry - we have loads of this!
