At GMF we recieve a great deal of emails each week. At least once a week we recieve an email that keeps us doing what we do. This is one such email:
Hi Mike, Hayden and Roddy
Just emailing to share our success with you! We took part in our tramping club annual duathlon event yesterday (in pouring rain). We cycled about 35km from sign of kiwi to the road end of Kaituna valley road via Gebbes, then walked/ran up to Packhorse hut and out to Gebbes pass road again, back on bikes and down to Governors bay hotel (about 55km in total). Last year we took 4 hr 10min (me) and 3 hrs 40min (Tim). This year we did it in 3 hr 37min (me) and 3hr 5 min (Tim) but the amazing this is that Tim won the individual men's event and I won the individual women's event! Everyone who took part was quite amazed at our improvement in a year and of course we have been telling everyone that it's down to getmefit! Thanks guys! Cheers. Mary & Tim
